October Studio Update + Free October Desktop Calendar
Hi Art Friends.
Here is your Free October Desktop Calendar. This month’s image is a 12×12 inch oil on canvas from my personal collection. The reference I used is a picture of a sunrise my Dad took over Wolf Lake, in Baldwin MI, summer 2020. The orange hues just make me think October.
October is here, which means colorful leaves and pumpkin decor here in Michigan as well as more apple varieties ready to eat. Reflecting back, September was a month of slowing down and catching up. After a wild summer of remodeling, we have been making conscious decisions to slow down, cook and create more. As well as pick away at the last few items that need to be tackled from the remodel.
Pictures below of a few works in progress as well as a giant 4ft x 6ft resin water pour I did for my brother which is going to be installed at Notre Dame.
